<p> Days of the week • Ask: What are the days of the week? • Invite students to call them out in order and write the words on the board. <p> Months and dates<br></p><p> • Students can work alone to complete the months. </p><p> • Allow weaker students to use dictionaries. </p><p> • Students can compare answers in pairs. 1.07 Play the recording for students to check their answers to Exercise 8. Write 1, 2, 3 on the board. Explain that these are ‘cardinal numbers’ and that they tell us about quantity: e.g. I’ve got three video games.</p><p> • Write first, second, third on the board.
