(Beginning of the lesson)

<p><b>Warm-up </b>&nbsp; </p><p>Ask students if they know any poems in their own language or in English. Ask if they enjoy reading poems and why.&nbsp; Ask what makes a text a poem. Elicit the words rhyme, rhythm and verse. Tell students they are going to read a poem in English. &nbsp;</p> <br>

(Main activities)

<p>Exercise 1 &nbsp; </p><p>Students work in pairs to read the poem and answer the questions. &nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>ANSWERS&nbsp; 1 seven verses 2 No 3 No&nbsp; </p><p>Exercise 2 &nbsp; &nbsp; Play the CD.
