Greeting. - Who is absent today? - Who is on duty today? Let’s check your homework. Your task was to make 5 sentences for adverbs of frequency Well done! Good for you

(30 minutes)

I. Presentation of the new lesson Subjects are at blackboard English, mathematics, history, geography, music, art, PE, IT Questions What is your favourite subject? Why do you like it? What subjects you don’t study? Task 1. Put these words in correct order and makeup sentences I group We don’t study geography because we are in fifth grade II group I like English because it is an interesting subject III group My favourite subject is music, because I like to sing a song IV group My friend likes mathematics because it is an interesting subject   Task 2 You listen to music or sing at this lesson. (Music) You run, jump, play football, basketball, volleyball at this lesson. (P.E.) You use computers at this lesson. (IT) You study cities and countries at this lesson. (Geography) You study historical events and their dates at this lesson. (History) You use plus, minus and numbers at this lesson. (Mathematics) Task 3 A moderation method Each student writes one sentence about his a day at school. Then read it in group and choose the best three sentences. Each group sticks their sentences at the blackboard. Teacher chooses five sentences which are more appropriate to the topic of the theme from those nine sentences. Task 4 Exercise 2 page 70 Read the text and translate
