<p>Greeting Organization moment Teaches divides learners into two groups by cut of pictures of homes. G-1 – Multi-story houses G-2 – Private houses&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Pre teaching vocabulary “Post it Notes” strategy Teacher gives cards with adjectives and the English was written in one colour and the Kazakh in another colour. Learners were asked to work in teams to match the adjectives. The first team to match all sets in their area, correctly was the winner. Descriptor: A learner *pronouns adjectives correctly; * matches the adjectives in English with Kazakh equivalents; *puts the words in the right columns; Task 1 Learners watch a video clip about types of houses and try to memorize new words visually. Task 2(G) “Think-Pair-Share” strategy Learner read the text and find out the information about homes. Then they write them on stickers. Each group separates homes into 2 categories. Descriptor: A learner *recognizes the words with prepositions before nouns and adjectives in the text; *finds out names types of homes * explains reasons of choosing homes Differentiation Less able learners – find out and name types of homes, More able learners –explain reasons of choosing homes The Blob Tree Assessment Learners will be assessed according to the Blob Tree. They have to choose one the minions that represents their understanding of the lesson and have to discuss to the topic with their classmates.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Task 3 Craft activities (G) Learners are given the task to make the layout of houses by the name of their groups. Learners present their work using prepositions before a noun and adjective Differentiation Less able learners – make the layout by describing and using adjectives More able learners – presents project in front of their classmates Criteria Yes No All members of the group are involved Make a house layout from different equipment Describe a house using prepositions before nouns and adjectives correctly Reflection Plenary At the end of the lesson, the teacher gives to the learners assessment bracelets.
